The practice

One One Ten's commercial and institutional practice covers creative offices, collaborative workplaces, campus environments, and commercial interiors. The brief for a WORK project is always some version of the same question: what does this organization need its space to do?

That question is answered through the same disciplined discovery process used for every One One Ten engagement — before any design is proposed.

Spencer Court holds the SCUP designation (Society for College and University Planning) and served as Campus Planner and Architect at the University of Lethbridge from 2010 to 2016. That background produces a different kind of attention to how institutions grow, how people move through shared space over time, and how environments shape the cultures they contain.

For current clients, One One Ten is the Architect of Record in association with Number Ten Architectural Group on two large mixed-use residential projects in Calgary: Rangeview at $130M and The Podium at $110M.
